Terms of Service

The service

SARAS is a workout-planning and training-log service. It uses information you provide during onboarding to generate workout plans, lets you log sets, and displays workout history and progress. SARAS is not medical care and does not diagnose or treat any condition.

You must be at least 18 years old to create and use a SARAS account. Keep access to your email secure because SARAS uses emailed one-time codes rather than a password.

SARAS Fitness Membership

The SARAS Fitness Membership is an auto-renewing subscription with a one-month duration. An active membership unlocks the same current app features whether it is purchased through the website or Apple.

• Web: $9.99/month, processed by Stripe. Web Checkout is for new members and existing SARAS accounts with no active membership or prior web-membership history.
• Apple: Apple displays the localized price before purchase. The current United States price is $11.49/month, processed through the App Store.

Each membership renews automatically every month until canceled through the provider that processed it. Prices and taxes shown by the provider at confirmation apply.

Founder pricing

A web founder keeps the $9.99/month web price while continuously subscribed. An Apple founder keeps the StoreKit-localized price at which they subscribed while continuously subscribed. For web memberships, a past-due payment pauses access immediately, but payment recovery without cancellation preserves founder pricing. Cancellation ends grandfathering; a later rejoin uses the price and terms then available.

Cancellation, refunds, and account deletion

• Manage an Apple membership through Apple Subscriptions in the SARAS app or Apple Settings. Apple handles Apple purchase and refund requests.
• For a web membership, contact support@sarasfitness.com from the account email. Web refund eligibility follows applicable law and the facts of the request.
• Web subscriptions are canceled by SARAS as part of a successful account deletion. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel through Apple first if you do not want it to renew. Account deletion removes SARAS access and account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Training safety

Exercise involves risk. Use judgment, stop if you feel pain or become unwell, and seek qualified medical advice when appropriate. You are responsible for selecting loads, movements, and conditions suitable for you. SARAS recommendations are informational training guidance, not medical advice. Check with a doctor before starting a new training program and before making medical decisions.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• access another person's account or misrepresent your identity;
• interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or probe it without permission;
• use SARAS unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights; or
• copy, resell, or redistribute the service except where law permits.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, secure, change, or discontinue parts of SARAS. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free. Changes to current paid service or these Terms do not alter a continuously subscribed founder's protected purchase price described above.

Apple terms

Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is responsible for App Store billing administration, not for operating the SARAS service.
